South East Superior Coatings have designed a thorough Quality Assurance Checklist & Record System for your protection.
All Abrasive Blasting & Paint Application Procedures are applied using stringent, Australian Standard requirements.
Staff are extensively trained and this system is filed securely for future reference, so consistency of your jobs can be achieved.
How South East Superior Coatings Quality Assurance Checklist & Record System helps you.
The following process ensures quality assurance.
- Blasting is done to Australian Standards – Abrasive blast class 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3 to A.S 1627.4 with Premium Garnet.
- Job can be gauged for profile testing & documented upon request.
- Job is then to be blown down & removed from blast chamber.
- Once the job is in the paint room all welds, holes & hard to get areas are brushed or rolled in.
- The Steel or Aluminium are ready for coatings once they are under 85% humidity.
- Once the Paint system is in the process of being applied to A.S 1627.9 – Painting Steel Surfaces – it is then to be tested with a Wet Film Gauge for estimation on the thickness of the material being applied.
- Once the Job is fully cured it is then tested again but with a Digital Paint Film tester called a Positector & all Q.A documented & Filed as a requirement.
- A Certification of Quality Assurance Certificate is issued upon job completion by Paint Suppliers, in conjunction with South East Superior Coatings.
