The following process ensures quality assurance.
Blasting is done to Australian Standards – Abrasive blast class 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3 to A.S 1627.4 with Premium Garnet.
Job can be gauged for profile testing & documented upon request.
Job is then to be blown down & removed from blast chamber.
Once the job is in the paint room all welds, holes & hard to get areas are brushed ore rolled in.
The Steel or Aluminium are ready for coatings once they are under 85% humidity.
Once the Paint system is in the process of being applied to A.S 1627.9 – Painting Steel Surfaces – it is then to be tested with a Wet Film Gauge for estimation on the thickness of the material being applied.
Once the Job is fully cured it is then tested again but with a Digital Paint Film tester called a Positector & all Q.A documented & Filed as a requirement.
A Certification of Quality Assurance Certificate is issued upon job completion by Paint Suppliers, in conjunction with South East Superior Coatings.
